take be back 80 years.

It seems like almost every conversation I have with my 85 year old grandma I always end up saying, "I wish I grew up in your era." She smiles and says, "It was fantastic."

Between drooling over Ginger Rodgers' dance moves and knowing Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing script by the age of 5, I had the whole family guessing what I would turn out like.
In honor of my inner 5 year old self that is still stunned by Ginger, I made an outfit that puts a fun modern twist on the early century.

as for Shakespeare? 12 years later and it's still my favorite.

Those shoes are so fabulous! I am currently reading Gatsby, really gets a sense of the 20s.

Shakespeare is classic. I wish the age we live in was much more romantical, with long flowy dresses, or flapper fringes. Instead we're stuck in a day and age of low riding shorts and bling. Oh what I would give to be in the 20's :(
